The settlement of Kalandare is located in the northern foothills of Psiloritis at an altitude of 264m, in a panoramic position towards the sea and the surrounding mountains. In the place of Kalamiana, in a green area in the gorge of Kalandare, there is the unique Holy Temple of the Last Supper, “Agia Trapeza”. It is a chapel that dates back to the Venetian period. The Kalandarian gorge, an area of special natural beauty, is located east of the settlement and is 4,800m long. In the gorge there are springs with abundant water, watermills and two other chapels, the chapel of the Holy Apostles and the cave church of Agia Paraskevi.
