The chamber-shaped Late Minoan tomb at the site of Kofina Melidoniou is located on the western slope of the hill of the same name. The chamber, almost ellipsoidal in shape, contained an altar and collections of bones. The offerings (objects accompanying the deceased) include vases, a bronze manual and a razor. The exact dating of the tomb goes back to the YM IIIA2 period (1375 – 1300 BC).
