The chamber tomb of the Angelians is located in Plagaki or Karteri, east of the modern settlement. It is carved out of soft rock, with a narrow and downhill corridor 5m long, an entrance 0.60m wide and a chamber measuring approximately 2.5 x 1.70m. From the corridor come two urns, one of which is for children. The chamber contained four urns, a vase with the infusion of a child and the collection of bones of more than one dead, and several offerings. The tomb was carved in the YM IIIA period (1400 – 1300 BC) and was used for several generations until the YM IIIB period (1300 – 1200 BC), to which the urn burials belong.
